“Many of us are guilty of not taking enough time to dial into our inner child’s voice ” -Kim Ha Campbell

I sit on the beach, watching a little girl falling, carefree into the sea holding onto the handle of her pink bucket.  She would run back on to the shore and pour the water into a hole she had dug, and then enthusiastically, jump with both feet making a big splash!  Then repeat!  I can’t tell you how many times she ran back and forth, with giggles and a great big smile.  No worries, just living in the moment, no worries!

With my own smile and laughter, tears streaming down my face, I think how I want so badly to be that little girl, I remember that little girl I once was.  Oh, she surfaces periodically,  but…

When did that little girl get squashed?

Why is the world so cruel?

I just want to “jump into the puddle of life”, free of worry, free of judgement!  Free of not feeling like I am enough.  Free from the fear of abandonment.

I just want to freely live like that little girl, live in the moment, follow the beat of my own heart!!
